Brought up in the Vale of Ffestiniog, Dafydd has been involved in the outdoors from an early age. He pioneered the development of Britain’s first purpose built mountain bike trails at Coed y Brenin and later the world’s first publicly funded strategic mountain bike trail development. He now works world wide as an independent trails consultant. His work is underpinned by an ethos of sustainability and minimising the impact of recreation on the countryside. He is passionate about connecting people to the outdoors and the environment in sustainable ways.
